Charnie Guettel composition: another composition from 2010, one of the years of fulltime 
instrumental composing, searching for longer stage pieces, which culminated in the jazz 'bar opera' 'Ophélie' I find this one especially interesting. WHAT IS FORM"

charnie guettel composition "for Peggy Lee". Another composition I wrote in 2009, searching for motifs for "Tears of Ophélie".  I dedicated the compositions to singers who had given so much to me,
calling it "Love for Singers".  The compositions exist on disc in longer forms.

Charnie Guettel: Study for Maria Callas.  This is a piece I wrote with Maria
Callas in mind, when I was first writing music for the opera "Tears of
Ophélie".  Although it did not become part of 'Ophélie", it may be
part of the one of the subsequent 'bar operas' coming into being this year: 'Circles
of Hypothesis', 'Moise', 'Boppie', La Science'.  First I must arrange it for
the band.
